Charity Concert
We had our last fundraising event on Saturday evening for our trip to Diepsloot, near Johannesburg. A charity concert held in Anglo Catholic Church in the city centre provided the venue and then various concert musicians and the Sheffield University Jazz Orchestra provided the entertainment.
It was a great evening. Lots of people. More money raised. And we’ve pretty much hit our target.
The last few months have been very busy with the various events we’ve been planning and hosting, but it’s definitely been worth it.
Here’s to a great time in South Africa!

Great news. It’s not far away now, and I hope an inspiring, impacting trip.
How about sharing a few thoughts on a blog sometime just about the way you’ve got people and groups to be involved in events like this - with some attached reflections. I’m sure these will be a greate encouragement to people who are wondering how to get involvement.

I’m glad it’s more helpful than burden. I know one of the things people often get stuck with is just where or how to begin. This is something really positively practical that you are able to provide.
