The renovation continues
Well our house is still in a real state. We’ve definitely made it a LOT worse in order to make things better. I’m getting a bit frustrated with the mess to be honest. We keep losing things and then can’t get to boxes because it’s behind a whole load of other stuff. The workmen should only be in for a few more days though and then we can start decorating.
This is the lounge. What you see boarded up now is where they just dug out a whole for the Victorian fireplace we’re getting! (They’ve boarded over it so that they can cut a perfect whole for the fireplace)
This is the fireplace that just arrived this morning. I think it’s going to look great when it’s all in and done
Technology in the midst of the mess!
This is what will be our bedroom. The plastering is now pretty much done so we hope to get to work preparing this soon.ÂÂ

haha, i like how critical the internet connection is in all the mess… i also love your comment about making things worse to make them better. Sure makes all of us who are a mess feel better…

I hope you’re sorted out soon.
I think we’re still trying to sort out a house four years later - at least we don’t have to live in it, but our daughter does.
By the way, I found the VoxSheffield to be inspiring.
