Strengthsfinder, more food, bad weather & the Superbowl

It’s been another great day here in Orlando even if the weather is pretty shocking (at least compared to what we were hoping for). I’m feeling much better today which I’m definitely glad about. I don’t think I could of coped with missing out on enjoying the great food for much longer.

Today with the IMN we focussed on the Gallup StrengthsFinder tool with Joe Dworak. It was really good and gave us much more fuel for utilising this back in Sheffield. We then went to a great restaurant right near Daytona Beach before sharing communion and praying for each other on the shore of the Atlantic. It was a really great time but it was freezing!

When we got back a few of us then watched the Superbowl final. It was fun to watch, but wasn’t a great game. The number of advertisements really spoils it as a sport too. There’s no momentum and it’s all really stop-start. And the Chicago Bears looked like a bunch of school boys. The dropped, fumbled, and threw so many balls away it’s hard to believe how they ended up in the final.

Here’s a few pics from today (you can see the rest here):

Good to hear how things are going. I see the Octavio in your pictures - say hi! to him from me.

We’re just getting the first group started on identifying their strengths. See my blog for some of the encouraging things that come at the beginning of a curriculum Chip Anderson wrote, and which I’m reading at the moment.

Good to see you’ve bounced back some. Sorry about the weather. I blame the icecaps. Why don’t they just stop melting for once!

    Hey Sam,
It was great to see you again, this time in my neighborhood. Are you going to be at the vox music jam on Friday?
