Bed’s too big without you
It’s funny how you spend the majority of your early life in a single bed and then, after just two years of marriage, one night with your wife away seems, well, just wrong. (I think this in only the second time Rachel has been away since we’ve been married…and I don’t like it!)

I agree, cute and true, like a piece is missing. You wait till you have a kid, I’m still waiting to see my wife 6 months on!!!!! When Lis had Benjamin I felt like a spare part in the house by myself, funny creatures arn’t we. I often wonder how my Gran lived over 30 years without her husband (my grandad).
Send Rachael all our love and Benjamin sends a rather sloppy Kiss (i don’t think he’s got the hang of it yet more like trying to eat you)

the first time I had to stay by myself after being married I slept on the couch. I don’t mind so much now having the bed to myself…I think that has more to do with sharig with Max for so long!

I’m so surprised that they kept her in the hospital overnight…when I had mine out I had outpatient surgery and it wasn’t even in a hospital…it was at this little dental surgeon’s office.
Poor Sam. Good luck catching some Zs.

I think it was her reaction to the general anesthetic that kept her in. They don’t release anyone until they’ve eaten a meal, been to the toilet, and are comfortable walking around. And Rachel was very dizzy and unstable so they kept her in and then she was out about 9.15 this morning. She’s currently at home watching a film with some friends!
