What connects me to God. After trying all the suggested methods of "quiet time" and being utterly disappointed with their inability to hold my attention I have realized that I need my books. My commentaries, my "heady" reference books. Study. That is how I best spend time with God. Since this discovery I find that those things I've always been told I should be doing come much more naturally. I pray more. I write more.
