A space where the world can meet Christ

“We have concluded that we must create a space where the world can meet Christ, not build a place where the church can meet.

What an exciting thought! How many church buildings are built with a view to them truly being a place where the world can meet Christ?

How can we create places which are not havens for Christians from the world but are havens for the world?

Is Ron right with his comment or should church spaces be a place where both the world can meet Christ and where the church can meet? Is that possible? What might it look like practically?

What should the role of buildings be in furthering the kingdom and establishing new expressions of church?
