I was reading some more of “Rees Howells - Intercessor” today and was thoroughly challenged by the way God used him to love, care, and provide for tramps. In particular, I was stuck by this comment he made:

I learned according to 1 John 4:20, that you don’t love the Saviour one bit more that you love the least one He died for.

What a challenge! My love for the least lovely of this world is the true reflection of my love for King Jesus. Help me Holy Spirit to love everyone who Jesus died for. I know that my love is not enough; I need you to love these people through me.
